Butter Chicken Naan Wraps
Creamy, flavorful, and wrapped in soft, buttery naan — the ultimate fusion of Indian comfort and classic street food.
Ingredients
For the Chicken Marinade:
2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup tomato puree
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
For the Wraps:
4 soft naan breads (or flatbreads)
½ cup shredded cheese (optional, for extra comfort)
2 tbsp melted butter for brushing
Fresh cilantro and a spoon of yogurt sauce for garnish
Instructions
Marinate the Chicken:
Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl, add chicken, and coat well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (overnight for best flavor).Cook the Chicken:
In a large pan, melt butter and add chicken pieces.
Sauté until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove and set aside.Make the Sauce:
In the same pan, add chopped onions and cook until soft.
Stir in tomato purée, sugar, salt, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Add cream, stir well, and let the sauce thicken.Combine:
Return chicken to the sauce and cook another 5 minutes until tender and creamy.Assemble Wraps:
Warm naan, brush with melted butter, add butter chicken, and sprinkle cheese if desired.
Wrap tightly and garnish with cilantro and a drizzle of yogurt sauce.
