Sweet Potato & Black Bean Patties

🍔 Ingredients (makes 8 patties)

  • 1 medium sweet potato (cooked & mashed)

  • 1 cup black beans (cooked)

  • 1 small onion (chopped)

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • 2 tbsp whole-grain or chickpea flour

  • Salt & pepper

  • Olive oil for cooking

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mash sweet potato and black beans together.

  2. Add onion, garlic, spices, and flour.

  3. Form small patties.

  4. Pan-fry 3–4 min per side until golden (or bake at 400°F for 20 min).

  5. Serve with salad or light yogurt sauce.
